MUSEO DELL’ETNA - ETNA MUSEUM
Il MUSEO DELL’ETNA è il più grande museo vulcanologico d’Italia e la principale esposizione didattica e culturale sull’Etna, trattando sia gli aspetti naturalistici che quelli storici ed etno-antropologici. Tra gigantografie e diorami a grande scala, simulazioni di colate di lava, sbuffi di geyser e grotte di scorrimento lavico, i visitatori entreranno in contatto con le eruzioni dell’Etna descritte dai documentari proiettati nell’ampia sala cinema. Il Museo dispone anche di una divertente sala proiezione 3D.
The ETNA MUSEUM is the largest volcanological museum in Italy and the main educational and cultural exhibition on Etna, dealing with both naturalistic and historical and ethno-anthropological aspects. Among blow-ups and large-scale dioramas, simulations of lava flows, puffs of geysers and lava flow caves, visitors will come into contact with the eruptions of Etna described by the documentaries shown in the large cinema hall. The Museum also has an entertaining 3D projection room.
CASA DELLE FARFALLE - BUTTERFLY HOUSE
La CASA DELLE FARFALLE è un mondo magico in cui gli esemplari più belli del mondo sono liberi di volare e compiere l’intero ciclo vitale. E’ un’immersione nell’affascinante mondo dei Lepidotteri all’interno della grande serra tropicale edelle due sale didattiche. Il coinvolgimento emotivo che suscita la visita alla Casa delle Farfalle stimola i visitatori ad avere un atteggiamento più consapevole verso l’Ambiente per conoscerlo, rispettarlo e difenderlo.
The BUTTERFLY HOUSE is a magical world in which the most beautiful specimens in the world are free to fly and complete their entire life cycle. It is an immersion in the fascinating world of Lepidoptera inside the large tropical greenhouse and the two teaching rooms. The emotional involvement that a visit to the Butterfly House arouses stimulates visitors to have a more aware attitude towards the Environment in order to know, respect and defend it.
APIARIO DELL’ETNA - ETNA APIARY
Il nuovo APIARIO DIDATTICO con PERCORSO ESPERENZIALE è un’occasione per conoscere apprezzare l’importante ruolo ambientale delle api, dall’impollinazione alla biodiversità. Un apicoltore mostrerà le api vive nell’arnia didattica in piena sicurezza spiegando il fantastico mondo delle api, il ruolo delle operaie, della regina e dei fuchi. Si potranno osservare i vari prodotti dell’alveare e le attrezzature del laboratorio di smielatura. Seguirà una degustazione guidata del nostro miele di Api Nere Sicule.
The new EDUCATIONAL APIARY with EXPERENTIAL PATH is an opportunity to learn and appreciate the important environmental role of bees, from pollination to biodiversity. A beekeeper will show the live bees in the educational hive in complete safety, explaining the fantastic world of bees, the role of the workers, the queen and the drones. It will be possible to observe the various products of the hive and the equipment of the honey extraction laboratory. A guided tasting of our Sicilian Black Bee honey will follow.

Opening from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00, from 14:30 to 18:00. No booking is required
